Meals for Hope Home Orphanage
For years Pastor Ravindra Babu would see children wandering in the streets of India. They had no one to take care of them or give them food to eat. As he prayed about this, God laid on his heart to provide them with food, shelter, education and a spiritual foundation in God's word. This led to the formation of Hope Home, an orphanage currently home to 18 children in Andhra Pradesh, India.
Some of these children have experienced the loss of either one or both parents, or even been abandoned, but here they recieve love and have a place to call home. A report by World Bank and United Nations Children's Fund
(UNICEF) highlights the severity of childhood poverty around the globe with a large portion of the poorest children living in India. Pastor Babu has received several requests to take in more children to Hope Home, but they're unable to do so without financial means to support. Current costs to feed the children is $800 each month. With consistent donor support they can safely feed the current 18 each month and take in more.
Could you be one of those to provide a monthly gift of any amount and help ensure these children have enough to eat? Add special instructions "Hope Home Meals" to your online gift or personal check note. Blessed is he who considers the poor! |
