2022 Mission Trip to Palmas, Tocantins in Brazil
Our non profit Consider the Poor (www.wectp.org) is planning a mission trip to Brazil this August to serve the local community with Dr. Filipe Guimaraes of Agemtceus Ministry in Brazil.
This missions trip includes establishing a new church in a poor community, delivering food baskets to families in need, giving treats, sharing the gospel, and playing games with the local children, visiting the elderly and sick of the church, and sharing the gospel at church, at fairs and in communities. We are raising funds for a church projector and food baskets for the families in need. Food baskets are $15 each and we would like to bless 50 families in the community. The targeted projector for purchase is $600 and works well in daylight or under indoor lighting. Pastor Filipe has been visiting the local community children every Friday since January of 2021. They receive snacks, enjoy games, and learn about God's word.
The church is taking form in Palmas, and God is drawing people to build His church! Hearts are open and we're ready to share the love of God found in Christ Jesus.
